Biography

Dr. Daftary is a disciplined, dedicated achiever and visionary with excellent leadership and motivational skills and has experience of working in different verticals of healthcare for the last thirty-five years. He initiated his career as an Honorary Anesthesiologist attached to various government hospitals in India and was also attached to various renowned Private Hospitals in the field of General, Surgical, Neuro-Surgical, Cardiac, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Obstetrics from 1982 to 2005 To enlist a few Achievements:

Dr. Daftary has been an Assistant Executive Vice President of Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai which is a Multispecialty tertiary care Hospital. His core functions were Business Development, Appointment of Consultants, Planning Specialty OPD’s, Training of Staff, Costing and Profitability Analysis, Setting of Protocols &Procedures, Expansion Planning, and HRD. The responsibilities, therefore, revolved around Profit and Cost Canter Management

A CEO and now MD to BIOMED HEALTHTECH PVT LTD since 1989, from the inception of the company till date. This Company is in manufacturing, Exporting, Importing, trading of Medical Equipment. He has been valuable in Resource Planning, Project Finance, and Liaising with Biomedical Companies from the USA and Europe. His forte again has been Manpower training, Medical Training. He has handled fifty-five Hands-on Workshops for doctors all over India and also internationally in Nairobi and Lagos. He like a true Visionary had started a Medical Software Company in 1992. The Company is now a Private Limited Company.

He had been nominated as one of the very few invitees from the field of Medical Equipment, from INDIA by the UKTI (UK trade & investment international) UK, thrice. The sole purpose was coordinating two-way business from UK and INDIA. He had the opportunity to communicate with various British Companies interested in developing business in South East Asian Countries.

Dr. Daftary was even felicitated by the King of Nigeria for imparting training to orthopedic doctors in Nigeria and the program was aired on Nigerian television.

He owned a Multispecialty Nursing Home which was running under his guidance and planning for twenty-five Years from 1982 to 2007. This venture and experiences in different verticals of Healthcare namely Management of Corporate Hospital, Management, and inception of Medical Equipment Company, Medical Software Company, and Medical Practice as a Consultant Anesthesiologist widened his interest in the area of Hospital Planning and Designing. Since then HOSPICON also has been his passion and dream.

He specializes in Strategic Planning in Healthcare Projects, Project conceptualization, Layout Designing, Market Survey, Feasibility, and Project Report Preparation, Planning finance, Taxation, Budgeting and Costing, Technical Service Planning, Commissioning of Services & System Management, Hospital Department & Specialty Planning, Hospital Equipment Planning, Human Resource Planning.

Hospicon under the guidance of Dr. Mukesh Daftary was chosen by the EURO SERVICE GROUP, a British company, as one of the leading consultancies to make an FSR for a Hospital at Sharm-Al-Sheikh, Egypt out of five different consultants from different countries. Dr. Daftary could prove his abilities by completing the task in the required timeframe and with Precision. He was invited by a business group in Malaysia for Planning a Hospital Project.

Dr. Daftary has been awarded by the Consulate General of America for the special efforts and success in doing business with the United States of America. Recently he has been appointed as a Director in an Indian Subsidiary of a UK Company and has also been appointed as VP Marketing for a Medical Robotic Company in California.

With forty years of diverse experience in healthcare, management, marketing, sales, finance, feasibility studies, he is now taking it seriously to bridge the gaps in medical IT services, IT cloud implementation and services, IT project implementation services, DevOps, build and deploy in medical and even Tech industry, as Vice President of Sales and Operation at Alpha Net Consulting LLC. -- USA / INDIA
